This is an original and rare 1st generation "bugeye" headlight WRX, builtbulletproof, inspired by rally cars. It alsohas very civilized road manners, and I've mostly used it as a commuter car,but it has also been great in the mountains and snow. It has been serviced regularly atMountain Tech Subaru Specialists in Oregon City for years, and the shop ownertells me that this engine will normally run for 300k miles. Currently has183,800mi on it. It now has the ride height of a modern Subaru Crosstrek. I addeda 3" lift to the suspension 3 years ago to give it better off-road clearance forcamping and skiing trips, installed at Primitive Enterprises in Tigard, OR, byrenowned pro Subaru rally driver Paul Eklund. - Seedocumentation in photos) This modification has been incredible, and there isnothing the car can't get over or through with confidence, especially snow.(Note: I have not raced the car as a rally vehicle) I also had them install analuminum skidplate underneath the engine. It is currently sporting plain blackrims with knobby off-road Cooper tires, which ride the same as normal tires oncity streets. Grip is amazing on dirt/mud/snow/ice. -Power control, tinted windows, new CD/MP3/Radio new speakers installed 2014,roofrack with crossbars, towing package. -Timing belt and water pump replaced at130,000mi by Mountain Tech Subaru Specialists, as all Subarus end up requiring. 2015 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited. Reconstructed title due to hydrolocked engine. Vehicle drove into largepuddle and water got into the intake. New block with about 7k miles wasinstalled when the car had 33k on it. I have personally driven over 10k miles onit without a single issue. Absolutely no water ever present in the car.
