Get ready for spring andsummer. Put top down half way or all the way back and enjoy. Bought from Carmaxlast year, great car. It looks like they put a new top on it. I put 5 new tires at 91,114 miles andnew cushions in both front seats. Drove from Indiana to TN toDC last fall to drive a few days a week while in town each week. Engine meets CarMax standards! My businesses will now lease me a car and I onlyhave inside parking for one--otherwise would love to keep. bumper has a scratch, small tear in storage box between seats, back middleseat has a small cut and the right rear fender over the tire has a blemish (seepictures). Rust under right rear speaker, see pictures. This Jeep runs perfect,nice ride. AC and heat are great and top is firm. It is a fun car to have. Ithas been garage kept since I purchased in June 2016. I am selling a new build of a classic Wrangler that only needs a few items tocomplete. I simply have lost the desire to bring it to the finish line… Thelist of parts is endless and total over $18K (parts only) because there isnothing but quality parts used on this Jeep. Let’s start with the engine…. No 4 or 6 cylinder here but a GM Goodwrench 5.7L (350) crate motor from Jegs. Tokeep the RPMS down on the highway, that beast is mated to a 700R4 which sports a0.67 overdrive ratio and Lokar shifter. The engine outputs a healthy 300HP/300FTLBs to keep the Jeep moving with ease. Other cool things (pun intended) tokeep things long lasting is the Superior Radiator custom built radiator and fancombination good up to 550 HP!! The transmission also gets special attention tokeep it moving through the slow rock crawling with a fan-cooled radiator of itsown. The engine has an Edelbrock off road carb on an RPM air gap polishedmanifold. Fuel pressure is controlled by dialing back the new in tank fuel pumpto the 6PSI needed to keep the carb happy. The fuel and transmission lines areall stainless braided with AN fittings to protect it while off-road. The frameis completely rust free and is coated internally with a WaxOyl product to keepit that way for years to come. Factory mounts were removed and a Terraflex ProLong arm kit was installed with the 4 link rear option removing any need for arear tracbar and allowing it to flex like crazy. Bilstein shocks are matchedwith Nth Degree 4.5” coil springs to round out the suspension modif.

1986 Jeep Comanche XLS. This is the earliest known Comanche to exist. That's the 831st Jeep built in 1986 of all the models (CJ,Cherokee, Wagoneer, Truck). I have owned it for the past 2 years and since thattime myself and a few friends that are Jeep collectors have not been able tofind a Comanche with a lower serial number. I have been on Jeep sale sites,forums and have not found any. It is also the lowest serial number on theComancheclub site. It has been in NJ since the beginning of 2014. It came fromFlorida and was originally sold at Sanford AMC in Sanford Florida. Still has thedealership sticker on the tailgate. It came to NJ with 60500 miles on it and nowhas 61275 miles. This is an all original XLS version with the longbed. It has the rare floor shift automatic transmission with center console. This is the same combo that was used in the early advertising for the Comanche. The only things changed have been the tires, battery, brakes and normalmaintenance items. The A/C works great and was recharged and serviced 3 yearsago. It has the original Jeep stamped bedliner with side rails. When I bought itthe previous owner had a cap which he had installed. I removed it but was unableto get one of the bolts back in all the way for one of the side rails. The onlyother issue with the Jeep is that the carpet and headliner are discolored. Itappears that the dye somehow came out of the color. The carpet under theoriginal floormats is still the correct color along with the floormats. It isthe original carpet. Headliner is intact and not sagging anywhere. The steeringwheel, dashpad and seats are near perfect. The paint above the steering columnis wearing off and turning black. New brakes, new tires, new hubs. Rhino-liner interior and awesome flat metallic blue exterior paint. This CJ7 is a head turner everywhere she goes. Runs fantastic and I had plenty more upgrades planned for her. Unfortunately, we need to make room for baby! This was a secondary, garage kept island Jeep for my wife and I to run around on spring and fall days. It runs and looks GREAT. Sorry to see the jewel of my garage go, but it is time for her to move on to a new home!

Production was only from 1981 - 1986, and on a much more limitedvolume than the CJ7. Subsequently, values are 30-40% higher than similarlyequipped CJ7's, and 50-60% higher than CJ5's. My Scrambler has been aTexas truck it's entire life. 2 Owners. There are no rust issues. Theoriginal floors and bed are still in the truck. The hardtop fits very nicely. The doors shut nicely as well, and close flush with the body and have even bodygaps all around. The paint on the truck is original and tells a tale of awesomeadventures and good times through its dings and scratches. The original transfer case, and axles are all still with the truck. The rearaxles has been upgraded to Alloy One-Piece axles and the front hubs have beenupgraded to SuperWinch locking hubs. The original 6 cylinder has 109,000 milesand change. It still has the original Carter carb on it. Start up takes a 5-7pumps and about 30 seconds to get warmed up enough to idle nicely.
