Only 2000 of the 2008 Models were built and most not sent to the U. Purchasedthis 2008 6spd Limited coupe new at the end of 2009. Over half of the totalmiles were during the first 6 months when I drove 80 miles per day 7 days perweek to work. It's been garage kept ever since and rarely taken out. Apartfrom the first 6 months it hasn't even seen rain ! Still has new car smell. Original sticker shows $38700 . These cars have virtually no mechanical issues and the factory gave alifetime power train warranty , but they do have several small trim issues thatare common and these have already been addressed .3M clear protection film wasapplied to the headlights within the 1st few months to prevent hazing , theselights are still perfectly clear ! A new headliner was recently installed due tothe fabric drooping in some areas. The dealer also repainted the windshield trimand installed a new grill due to paint pitting. An oil change and new tires werejust installed a few hundred miles back as well as a new battery. This car NEEDSNothing ! Built in Germany at the Karmann plant . The Crossfire is simply aMercedes SLK class with a Karmann designed body. The last Crossfire rolled off ofthe assembly line on December 17, 2007. CD Player
